Welcome to the site of Cariboo Mountain Outfitters, licensed BC hunting guides. We offer guided hunts for Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Moose, Mule Deer and Wolves. Our guests can also enjoy wilderness angling for wild Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, Rocky Mountain Whitefish, Brown Trout, and Sockeye Salmon.
North Central British Columbia
We are located in north central British Columbia south east of Prince George. Our base camp, lodge and cabins are located 31 miles east of Quesnel, BC, situated by Victoria Creek on a 3000 foot meadow with a grass airstrip for small aircraft.
Our Hunting Camp
The camp, consisting of lodge and guest cabins, is at 3100 feet above sea level, in the middle of the migration path from the 6000 foot mountains to the north where animals spend their summers, and move down in the fall to the lowlands and willow hillsides along the Quesnel River for winter feeding.
Our Guiding Area
We have an exclusive guiding area of over 1500 square miles of fine hunting country, and recently purchased an adjoining area of new guiding country. Principal big game includes Grizzly Bear, Moose, Mule Deer, Black Bear and Wolves. Hunters can choose to hunt on horse, 4-wheel drive or boat. Our goal is to provide you with an exceptional, unforgettable guided hunting or fishing experience. We cater to hunters and fishermen from every ability level. Wilderness Fishing
We offer guided angling on 14 different waters - lakes and rivers! Wild Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, Rocky Mountain Whitefish, Brown Trout, and Sockeye Salmon - these are all wild populations - none have been planted. As some of our lakes are only accessible by foot or horseback, very few people are able to reach them. We also offer guided angling adventures on the Quesnel River and Cariboo River by jet boat, and the Swift River by drift boat. These rivers provide Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden and Salmon. We offer 2, 3, 4, and five day fishing packages or we will customize your own trip to suit your schedule.
